Alex wanted the album to have a community feel not only with people helping out with the music but also with the places that the album is recorded.
One of the tracks was recorded by a group of Edgewood students at the primary school in Hucknall.
Elements of another track will be recorded at the John Godber Centre in Hucknall, which has been the centre of the local community since 1906.
It is also hoped that one of the tracks will be recorded at the Nottingham Castle.
The Backing track for one of the songs was professionally recorded at University of the West of England by Adam Wheatley.
